The Queen's Reading Room Festival will return to the stunning surrounds of
Hampton Court Palace on Saturday, 8th June 2024.
The festival will gather authors, actors and literature lovers for a day celebrating the written word.
Visitors can explore the Palace and its beautiful grounds, treading the floors where Shakespeare once performed with his King's Men; wander the sumptuous gardens bursting with life in summer; listen to poetry read by some of the country's finest actors including Helena Bonham Carter, and enjoy shows from our headliners, including: Miriam Margolyes, Harlan Coben, Mick Herron, Kate Mosse, Elif Shafak, Lee Child and many more.
The Festival is a daytime and evening event and is a co-production between The Queen's Reading Room and Historic Royal Palaces, the independent charity that cares for Hampton Court Palace. Proceeds will go towards the ongoing work of both charities.
